The Nitro Thunder camp is not hard to find with its familiar red paint schemes and new Young Chevrolet tow truck.

With temps in the high 80s shade was a must especially during maintenance on the car.

Macklyn's nice 5.967 would land him in the #4 spot on race day. Quite an accomplishment considering that 17 cars failed to run good enough to qualify.

Not a good way for a clutch disc to end up.

Macklyn's first round opponent was Roger Garten.

A solid 5.91 was more than good enough to move into the next round.

The final was just a good ol' drag race.

All things considered it was a very good weekend for Sheriff Jack and the Utah Posse.
